Supreme Court Affirmation of Gov. Abiodun’s Victory, General Will Of The People – Arabambi

ABEOKUTA – The National Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Dr. Abayomi Arabambi has congratulated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on the affirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court.

Arabambi in a statement he personally signed on Friday said the ruling by the Supreme Court affirmed the voice of the electorates as expressed on March 25, 2023 governorship election.

Arabambi described the supreme Court pronouncement as the affirmation of the general will of residents and indigenes of Ogun State.

He said the verdict shows the massive love the Ogun people have for Governor Dapo Abiodun as manifested in their March 25 ,2023 votes, consistent prayers, and unshaken solidarity during and after the elections.

“Now that the issues of the election have been put to rest, I therefore called on Hon Ladi Adebutu and others to close ranks and work together with our Governor for the good of all.

“Adebutu and others should all bring their blueprints to the table in order to harness its potentials in delivering the much-needed dividends of democracy to our people.”

Arabambi lauded the apex court’s verdict, stating that it has put an end to opposition doubts and distractions, while calling for unity irrespective of party affiliation to support Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration for socio-economic development.

He said, “I commend the Supreme Court for its courage in upholding justice and reaffirming the saying that the judiciary is the last hope of the common man.

“I also congratulate the good people of Ogun State and urge our dear Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to continue in his stride to reposition and rebuild the State in line with his mantra, ISEYA.”
