Abiodun Appoints Six Ex-Commissioners As Special Advisers

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Wednesday, announced six former commissioners as special advisers.

Abiodun made the announcement a week after the state House of Assembly approved his request to appoint 20 special advisers.

The governor disclosed this in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi.

Both Talabi and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo were also reappointed.

The new Special Advisers were; Dapo Okubadejo as the Chief Economic Adviser to the governor, Olaolu Olabimtan as Special Adviser on Budget and Planning; Jagunmolu Omoniyi as Special Adviser, Housing; Adebowale Akinsanya, Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure; Olusina Ogungbade, Special Adviser, Justice and Dr. Tomi Coker, Special Adviser, Health.

According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect.
