Unprecedented Milestone As Pelican Valley Delivers Property Bought By Proxy Diasporans

ABEOKUTA – The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Ambassador Babatunde Adeyemo, has received two of the company’s key diaspora clients at Pelican Brief Estate, Kobape, Abeokuta, in what he described as a significant moment of trust, investment and fulfilment.

The clients, identified as Mr. Alawaiye and Mr. Abejide, who visited the site at the weekend, had acquired their properties at the estate three years ago through proxy, relying on Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited to manage the acquisition process and development permits on their behalf while they remained abroad.

According to Adeyemo, the clients have now returned to the estate in person following the completion and securing of their property documentation, development permits to the progress of physical development on their respective properties.

The real estate entrepreneur described the development as one of the most rewarding experiences in real estate, particularly when clients who invested from a distance are able to return and see their investments taking shape.

“One of the greatest rewards in real estate is watching your clients happily develop their properties, completely free from the anxieties of long-distance investing,” Adeyemo said.

The Pelican Valley CEO said meeting the two clients physically for the first time and witnessing them begin the process of developing their properties was an experience he considered an honour.

He explained that the clients had three years earlier demonstrated confidence in the company’s vision by purchasing their properties strictly by proxy, adding that their successful transition from remote investors to on-site property developers underscored the importance of trust and proper documentation in real estate transactions.

“Three years ago, they trusted our vision and acquired their lands strictly by proxy. Today, with their seamless property documentation fully secured, they are officially on-site and commencing physical development,” he said.

Adeyemo further expressed appreciation to the company’s growing community of diaspora clients for entrusting their hard-earned resources to Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited.

“Thank you to all our diaspora clients for letting us protect your hard-earned capital. Your trust is the blueprint of our execution,” he stated.

Pelican Brief Estate is situated along the Kobape Corridor in Abeokuta, a location positioned to benefit from growing connectivity and development within the axis.

The estate is approximately 15 minutes from the Wole Soyinka Railway Terminal Abeokuta and about 40 minutes from Alausa, Ikeja, according to the company CEO.

He noted that the latest development involving the two diaspora investors further highlights the increasing interest of Nigerians living abroad in acquiring and developing property in strategic locations back home.

In their remarks, the clients expressed satisfaction with what they met on ground, especially the promised made translating to a promise well kept.

“For us, the physical development of the properties represents more than the completion of a transaction; it is a demonstration of the company’s stated commitment to ensuring that diaspora investments translate into tangible property ownership and development,” they said.
