ABEOKUTA — The Yayi Diaspora Movement (YDM) has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) on his third year anniversary in the Senate, describing his record of infrastructural development and empowerment across Ogun State as unprecedented and worthy of celebration.

In a statement issued by its Global Secretary, Mr. Paul Abina, the group said Senator Adeola’s latest achievement, the completion of 53 developmental projects spread across Ogun West, Ogun Central, and Ogun East Senatorial Districts further demonstrates his commitment to inclusive governance and people-oriented representation.

The projects, which are scheduled for commissioning in the coming days, include the construction and rehabilitation of roads, ultramodern markets, primary healthcare centres, police stations, classroom blocks, town halls, and other critical community infrastructure aimed at improving the quality of life of residents across the state.

According to YDM, the new projects are part of a broader record of performance that has characterized Senator Adeola’s three years in office.

The group noted that since assuming office, the lawmaker has consistently facilitated developmental projects and large-scale empowerment programmes that have positively impacted thousands of people across Ogun State.

The Convener of YDM, Hon. Olusola Adisa-Adunbarin, described the development as a landmark achievement in the political and developmental history of Ogun State.

“The completion of another 53 critical projects across Ogun State within three years of Senator Yayi’s tenure is an extraordinary achievement that deserves commendation.

“This is practical leadership in action and a clear demonstration of commitment, competence, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people. It further strengthens our conviction that Senator Yayi possesses the vision, capacity, and experience required to deliver even greater development for Ogun State.”

He added that members of the diaspora were proud of the senator’s accomplishments, noting that his infrastructure projects and empowerment initiatives have earned him widespread trust and admiration across the state.

“Beyond these 53 projects, his record of infrastructural development and massive empowerment programmes across the three senatorial districts has earned him the trust and admiration of the people. These achievements reaffirm our belief that as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate for Ogun State, he is well positioned to provide transformational leadership and accelerate development across every part of the state,” he stated.

Also speaking, the Global Coordinator of YDM, Hon. Adekunle Adegoke, popularly known as Sanjay, praised Senator Adeola for consistently delivering tangible dividends of democracy.

“The projects spread across all three senatorial districts are proof that effective representation is not about promises but about measurable results,” Adegoke said.

“Senator Yayi has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the development of Ogun State and has set a standard that many public office holders can learn from.”

He further highlighted the senator’s achievements in both infrastructure development and empowerment programmes, describing them as evidence of his capacity, compassion, and commitment to public service.

“His achievements over the past three years have further strengthened public confidence in his ability to provide purposeful leadership and sustainable development for Ogun State. The Yayi Diaspora Movement remains proud of his accomplishments and fully committed to supporting his vision for the state,” he added.
