APC Professionals Celebrate Yayi At Birthday, Commend Contributions To Ogun Development
ABEOKUTA – The All Progressives Congress (APC) Professional Council, Ogun State Chapter, has felicitated the APC governorship candidate in Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi, on the occasion of his birthday.
The council described Yayi as a distinguished public servant, astute legislator, grassroots mobiliser and visionary leader whose contributions to the development of Ogun State and the empowerment of its people have continued to inspire confidence and hope.
In a birthday message signed by its Director-General, Dr. Bayo Adenekan, the APC Professional Council commended the senator for what it described as his commitment to the welfare of the people through impactful representation, strategic interventions and empowerment initiatives.
The council said Yayi’s interventions had focused on improving the socio-economic wellbeing of citizens, while noting that his strong connection with the grassroots had distinguished him as a political leader with a clear understanding of the aspirations of the people.
“Over the years, Senator Yayi has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to the welfare of the people through impactful representation, strategic interventions, empowerment initiatives and policies aimed at improving the socio-economic wellbeing of citizens,” the council said.
The professional body also praised the APC candidate for his interest in human capital development, youth empowerment and initiatives supporting farmers, traders and entrepreneurs across the state.
According to the council, Yayi’s efforts to create opportunities for professionals and other critical sectors of society further demonstrate his commitment to inclusive development.
“As professionals committed to the progress and prosperity of Ogun State, we particularly commend Senator Yayi for his passion for human capital development, youth empowerment, support for farmers, traders and entrepreneurs, as well as his commitment to strengthening opportunities for professionals and other critical sectors of society,” the statement added.
The council said the senator’s birthday provided an opportunity for family, friends, political associates and residents of Ogun State to celebrate his contributions to public service and his continued commitment to the people.
It prayed for long life, sound health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and divine grace for Yayi to enable him continue serving humanity and contributing to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria.
The APC Professional Council further wished the senator greater accomplishments, fulfilment and more opportunities to positively impact lives in the years ahead.
