NNL: Stormers SC President, Tony Rafua Solicits Allstars Support Ahead Of New Season

ABEOKUTA – As the 2025/26 Nigeria National League season commences in November, a former Chairman, NPFL Electoral committee and the President of Stormers Sporting Club of Abeokuta, Otunba Tony Rafua, has sought the support of Abeokuta residents, and all sports enthusiasts to rally round the Abeokuta based private football club.

Rafua made the passionate appeal at the weekend when he visited the training ground of All stars football association, Asero stadium, Abeokuta.

Rafua noted that the home fans’ support is crucial for the triumph of the football club to thrive in their new adventure of the NNL.

Recall that Stormers SC gained promotion to the NNL after qualifying from the NLO Super 8 play off in Asaba, Delta state.

The Stormers President, however, appealed to the All stars to give their insightful advice and opinion on how to further improve the football club to become a global brand.

Rafua, a former team manager of Gateway United FC and former General Manager of Warri Wolves FC, therefore charged the All stars to prepare well for the coming Veterans League scheduled for October in Lagos State.

Reacting, the Allstars President, Alhaji Salmon Akinbo, appreciated the management of Stormers SC for meeting all stakeholders, pledging total support for the team as the new season beckons.

Akinbo assured that the Allstars which emerged champions of the zonal elimination in Abeokuta would make the South West proud at the Veterans league.
