Chief Imam of Aiyedere, Adeleye Appointed Head of Muslim Affairs for Ogun Renewed Hope Movement
ABEOKUTA – The Chief Imam of Aiyedere Mosque, Imam Abdul Gaffar Adewale Adeleye, has been appointed Head of Muslim Religious Affairs and Mobilisation of the Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement (RHGM), Ogun State Chapter.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was conveyed in a letter signed by the National Secretary of the movement, Hon. Joseph Maiwada, and the National Coordinator, Amb. Isaac Chigozie Udeh.
According to the appointment letter, Adeleye would be responsible for coordinating Muslim religious affairs and mobilisation activities of the support group across Ogun State.
The movement tasked him with mobilising people in both urban and rural communities across the state to join RHGM in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the governorship aspiration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He is also expected to mobilise support for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
The organisation said the appointment would be subject to review in the event of failure to perform, disloyalty, dishonesty or anti-party activities.
The movement further directed the newly appointed official to adhere to its “No Dull Moment” policy and operate within its 3D mantra of Dedication, Determination and Discipline.
The RHGM leadership congratulated Adeleye on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to discharge the responsibilities assigned to him.
The Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement is a support group campaigning for the political interests of President Tinubu and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
