RAMADAN: ‘Let Us Embrace Virtue Of Generosity, Kindness’, Akinlade Charges Muslims, Philanthropists

ABEOKUTA – The PDP Deputy governorship candidate in Ogun state, Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade has enjoined congratulated Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Ramadan fasting which began on March 11.

Akinlade in a statement issued by his media aide, Adelani Azeez, enjoined the Muslim Ummah to embrace the virtues of generosity, kindness, and mutual respect towards one another.

Triple A as fondly called, noted that it is through exemplifying these noble qualities that they truly fulfill their roles as faithful Muslims.

He, therefore, urged the Muslim faithful to use the Holy month of Ramadan to seek Allah’s divine intervention in the face of the daunting challenges that beset Nigeria.

He said, “I humbly extend my warmest greetings to the esteemed Muslim ummah as we embark on the sacred journey of Ramadan 1445.

“May this blessed month be a time of profound supplication, boundless charity, spiritual growth, and heartfelt renewal for us all.

“In the face of the challenges that beset our state and nation, I beseech Allah to grant us the strength and resilience to overcome adversity and thrive in this trying period and beyond.

“Let us, in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran, embrace the virtues of generosity, kindness, and mutual respect towards one another. For it is through embodying these noble qualities that we truly fulfill our roles as faithful Muslims.

“To my dear brothers and sisters in Ogun State and beyond, I pray for a Ramadan filled with blessings, fulfillment, and spiritual enrichment. May this sacred month bring us closer to Allah and to one another.”
