ABEOKUTA -The President, Gadmaj Football Club, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi has been re-elected as the Chairman, Ogun State Football Association for the fourth consecutive term.
At the election supervised by NFF President representatives, Otunba Dele Ajayi and Alhaji Adebayo Aminu, Majekodunmi emerged victorious after polling 23 votes to emerge unopposed.
Other elected Ogun FA board members are: Mr. Akinkunmi Julius (Vice Chairman), Mr. Abiodun Odejinmi (Board Member), Fatai Oyerogba (member), Mr. Akeem Adeyemi (Member), Chief Okebunmi Akeem (member) Mr. Orenuga (member), Prince Olayinka Adesola (member) and Mr. Femi Bamigboye (member).

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Barr. Abayomi Omoyinmi who declared the election results urged the newly elected members to perform to expectations and live up to their oath of office.
In his acceptance speech, the new FA Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi expressed appreciation for the love and support given to him.

“I assure you all that we’ll take football in the state to greater heights but of course, I’ll need the support and cooperation of all”.
Congratulating the new FA members, the Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Youths and Sports, Dr. Qudus Yusuf charged the new FA board remain united and work for the development of football in Ogun state.
He further reiterated the readiness of Ogun state government to host the 2024 National Sports Festival.
