Controversy Over Yayi’s Project In Abeokuta, Sheer Political Enmity, Paranoia – Bolaji Adeniji
ABEOKUTA- The Convener, Ogun West Initiative, Olootu Bolaji Adeniji, has described as a display of political enmity and paranoia by those critic of Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi for the library project in Abeokuta.
Adeniji said the Ogun West Senator has not done anything in facilitating the library project in Abeokuta, stressing that the reason for the purported discrepancy around the name of the project has been clarified by the Senator’s media handler.
The Ogun West Initiative convener, however, posited that those ranting and name calling Senator Yayi despite the lucid explanation are playing ostrich and hypocrites.
“Playing the Ostrich and Hypocrisy are abiding elements of our politics in Ogun State; otherwise, why the noise over the library facilitated by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA. He has not done anything wrong but rather acted in good faith.
“The press statement by Chief Kayode Odunaro lucidly clarified the issue and put into context, the reason for the project and the purported discrepancy around the name of the project.
“If anyone read it and still continues the vacuous ranting and name calling against YAYI, then it will simply be understood as display of political enmity and paranoia.
“After all, if what YAYI wants is also what they want, then every opportunity will be utilized to smear his name and weaken the unstoppable trajectory of his influence.
“On the flip side, if some of these persons have as much as a quarter of the federal opportunities and resources available to YAYI, they would overreach themselves beyond what they balefully accuse him of.
“I advise my Egbon Wale Adedayo and the motley crowd of naysayers that have been masturbating on these needless issues – to calm down. It’s not that deep.
“When the real politics of 2027 starts, let those who desire the top job throw their hats into the ring, and the proper engagement will happen.
“For now, let us allow the dividends of democracy to reach the people irrespective of whom is facilitating it and where it is being implemented.”
