2027: Senator Yayi, Gov. Abiodun Promise To Deliver 2 Million Votes For Tinubu
ABEOKUTA – Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress in Ogun State and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State have promised to deliver 2million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The duo made the promise at the mega rally organized by one of Senator Adeola support groups, Caucus 7202 at Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode.
Senator Adeola said that Ogun State is a major beneficiary of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu on infrastructure stressing that Ogun state is a beneficiary of the Lagos-Calabar Coaster Road, Badagry-Sokoto Road as well as the ongoing total rehabilitation of Sagamu – Benin Express way.
While urging Ogun State voters to vote for APC candidates from the president to House of Assembly members, Senator Adeola said it is mere propaganda from the opposition to vote only for him during the upcoming election.
“Do not listen to them when they say vote for only Yayi in APC. I have no agenda with anyone. I appeal to you all to vote APC from top to bottom“ he stated.
The Senator said if elected all the projects in various sectors being implemented by him across the state will increase adding that he will continue and increase on the accomplishments of the governor.
He warned voters not to waste their votes on candidates whose party’s crisis has led them to operating their finances with a private company account stressing that the opposition party that is grappling with litigation cannot offer the people any concrete development.
Also, speaking Prince Dapo Abiodun corroborated the 2 million vote for the president while praising Senator Adeola as a worthy successor as governor stressing that the senator is a tested and reliable politician with much experience on good governance to continue on his successes in office.
“I want to thank Caucus 7202 for their massive mobilization for APC and endorsement of our candidates towards the coming elections. We will carry you along in government “ he stated.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Hon. Olaseni Koiki, the Director General of Caucus 7202 stated that the Caucus is an umbrella body for over 1000 support groups for Senator Adeola with almost 200,000 members adding that only about 10% of their members are politicians.
“We are wholly supporting all APC candidates from the President to Assembly members in Ogun State. Our members and their followers are for APC” he stated.
The mega rally was attended by the APC Deputy Governor candidate, Alhaja Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa Balogun and her husband, Hon. (Dr.) Abdulrasaq Balogun, Ogun State APC chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, Senators Lekan Mustapha and Akin Odunsi and a host of other APC chieftains.
