JUST-IN: Ogun Election Petition Tribunal Dismisses PDP Application Against Yayi

ABEOKUTA – The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta on Thursday threw out an application filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the election of Senator Solomon Adeola YAYI.

The PDP had filed a motion to amend its petition with many references to Ogun Central instead of Ogun West in an election matter involving Senator Adeola Yayi.

While delivering the ruling, the tribunal chairman, Justice K. Dabo said that the Application was statute barred and that it was just an attempt to “cure leprosy with cough mixture and it is hereby Dismissed.”
